Molly Taylor has been officially revealed as one of the brave 17 cast members for Channel 7's latest celebrity reality competition SAS Australia.
SAS Australia sees the celebs put through a gruelling course by an elite team of ex-Special Forces soldiers, with military-style physical and psychological challenges, run by ex-Special Forces soldiers.
SAS Australia is not a game, there is no winner or prize at the end as the recruits are pushed to breaking point. Who will have what it takes to tough it out to the end? It sounds like Survivor without the prize money, the beans and rice or the tribal council backstabbing.
Molly Taylor joins an eclectic mix of sports stars, celebrities and Australia’s most famous convicted drug smuggler, Schapelle Corby in their attempts to tough it out. Other stars include Olympic swimmer James Magnussen, Rugby star and former Bachelor Nick ‘Honey Badger’ Cummins, AFLW star Sabrina Frederick and the son of Warnie, Jackson Warne.
Taylor says that it was a true physical and mental challenge to be part of the show.
"It was a once in a lifetime experience, getting a glimpse of the SAS world and the challenges that they face," she said.
"It was certainly one of the toughest experiences of my life, but also the most rewarding too I like to think that I push myself out of my comfort zone, but that was on another level.
"They put you under immense physical stress, and then make you perform other tasks that test both your physical and mental limit. It’s pretty epic."
Taylor will also be part of Channel Seven’s upcoming motorsport coverage when racing returns, acting as a pit lane reporter for the carsales TCR Australia series, S5000 Championship and more.
SAS Australia premieres Monday October 19 at 7.30 pm on Channel 7.
