Alfa Romeo's Brera range-topping coupe is now available with the new 'Q-Tronic' automatic gearbox.
The Aisin-sourced six-speed automatic is offered for the top-of-the-range 3.2-litre V6 Brera. It features a tiptronic-style sequential shift and Sport and Winter functions that allows the driver to choose operating modes above the default Comfort mode.
Alfa says that even with the Q-Tronic gearbox the automatic Brera V6 maintains the same top speed as its manual counterpart, at 240km/h.
The Sport mode allows gear shifts to be set at higher engine speeds, while the Winter mode ensures maximum grip when the road surface is compromised by elements such as snow.
There are now three versions of the new Alfa Brera, starting at $76,990 for the Brera 2.2-litre JTS. The Brera 3.2-litre JTS V6 is now $96,990 in manual form, and $99,990 with the Q-Tronic gearbox.
