Canberra's old Parliament House will play host to an event bringing together the best of Italian automotive design

Maserati will be the featured marque at the Auto Italia event in Canberra tomorrow, but there'll be plenty of other Italian cars and bikes present for the aficionados.

The event, which is free to spectators, runs from 10am to 2pm, on the lawns outside the old Parliament House building.

Entries have been registered from all over Australia, according to the organisers. Some of the vehicles are new and include: a Ferrari F430, a Ferrari 612 Scaglietti, a Maserati Grandturismo, a Maserati Spyder, a Maserati 3200 and a Maserati Grandsport.

Canberra dealer Gulsons will display new Fiats and Alfa Romeos, and, for two-wheel enthusiasts the event will feature Ducatis, Moto Guzzis, Aprilias, MV Augustas, Laverdas and Benellis, as well as scooters from Vespa, Lambretta and Italjet to name a few.
