Autobarn to host Australia’s biggest show ’n’ shine
Big prizes up for grabs in automotive aftermarket retailer’s three-week Wax On Show Off eventAutobarn says it will take the traditional show ’n’ shine concept to a new level with its first Wax On Show Off competition, in which contestants stand to win $20,000 worth of prizes.
Set to run from October 24 to November 13, the three-week event invites any car or motorcycle owner to photograph their pride and joy in front of any of the 135 Autobarn stores around Australia.
Contestants are then invited to upload their pics to Autobarn’s Facebook page via the Wax On Show Off post pinned to the top of the page, or to Instagram by using the hashtag #waxonshowoff during the three week competition period.
Autobarn is inviting people from all over the country to participate, no matter what kind of auto enthusiast they are, be it 4x4, classic car, muscle car, Japanese (JDM), ute, motorcycle or even new P-Plate drivers with their first set of wheels.
For more chances to win, car enthusiasts and general motorists can upload several Show ’n’ Shine pictures taken at Autobarn stores to lodge more competition entries.
The grand prize winner of Australia’s biggest show ‘n’ shine will earn $5000 to spend in any Autobarn store across the country, but there’s also a prize pool of over $20,000 to be won.
If you don’t win you could also win a prize pack from top brands including Sony, Kicker, Kenwood, Bowden’s Own, Chicane, Vyking Force, Rough Country, Mother's, Autoglym, Meguiar's, Castrol, Nulon and WD-40.
Each image posted gains one entry for the chance to win the $5000 grand prize, which will be chosen at random after entries close. Each entry will also gain automatic entry into one of the sub-categories that will each have three prize packs up for grabs worth a minimum of $500 each.
The competition vehicle sub-categories are Off Road Warrior, Most Unique, Muscle Car, Japanese Domestic (JDM), Euro, Ute, Aussie Classic, Old School Cruiser, P-Plate Pride, Bike, Stance and Wagon.
So get snapping and sharing, and look out for a flurry of cool machinery outside your local Autobarn soon.
