Aeromil Pacific is the sponsor of the inaugural SunCoast Classic tarmac rally. One of the country's leading aviation operators, Aeromil Pacific will be the naming rights sponsor of the new event -- Queensland's first tarmac rally.
Aeromil Pacific is the Australian agent for the Cessna Aircraft Company and with nearly 30 years experience selling and supporting business and recreational aircraft, it offers a wide range of aviation services with operations in Sydney, the Sunshine Coast and Darwin.
Aeromil Pacific Executive Chairman Steve Padgett (pictured, right, with event chairman, David Edwards) said the sponsorship of the SunCoast Classic offered the company "an exciting opportunity to expand our group's recognition to a far wider audience."
"In the past we have relied on promotional activity primarily within our own industry but the relationship between motorsport and aviation has natural synergies and I believe the Suncoast Classic is the perfect way for us to introduce the passion we have for aviation to a whole new group of enthusiasts," he said.
Based out of the Sunshine Coast resort town of Noosa Heads, the SunCoast Classic will see more than 150 cars competing over four days and 1000km of some of the most challenging tarmac roads in southeast Queensland. The event takes place from July 5-8.
Aeromil's sponsorship will also include support of SunCoast promoter, Silverstone Event's, other tarmac event, Classic Adelaide.
