Mitsubishi's hot-house, TMR Performance, has confirmed pricing for the Bathurst Edition Lancer Evolution model.
The TMR upgrade costs just $8250 over the price of the Evolution model and adds a good dose more power -- an extra 30kW for a total of 247kw -- and torque, now at 436Nm, up from 366Nm. As TMR says, the engine upgrade makes the Bathurst Edition the most powerful Lancer Evolution ever sold in Australia.
The limited-run Bathurst Edition model also features a TMR-developed hi-flow exhaust and TMR Progressive Rate Spring package which reduces the ride height by 30mm for improved handling.
Just 100 of the Bathurst Edition Evolutions will be built by respected race engineer Alan Heaphy and his team at TMR Performance.
Wearing stylish black powder-coated 18-inch spoke forged alloy wheels with TMR centre caps, and Bathurst Edition badging front and rear, the TMR-treated Evolution looks an even more serious small sporty than the 'regular' hot Lancer Evo.
The TMR premium includes a certificate of authenticity and each car's build number is detailed on a badge placed on the dashboard. The upgrade is fully supported by Mitsubishi's industry leading 5/10 warranty.
TMR's Bathurst Edition package can be applied to the Evolution range -- both manual or SST twin-clutch models.
Interested customers can arrange the TMR upgrade with Mitsubishi dealers stocking the Lancer Evolution and Ralliart models. All Mitsubishi dealerships stocking Ralliart models can offer servicing for the Bathurst Edition Evolution.
TMR also offers a 'Club Spec' entry-level competition package for both ADR and non-ADR (Lancer Evolution RS) models. The 'Club Spec' version includes all necessary safety gear for both circuit and tarmac rally competition and is priced from $16,500.
