Jaguar has revealed a new longer wheelbase version of its XF sedan at the Chinese motor show.
Adding an extra 140mm to the wheelbase, Jaguar claims it has increased rear legroom by 157mm and knee room by 116mm.
Rear passengers also benefit from a new rear entertainment package that includes twin eight-inch screens embedded into the front headrests that’s controlled by a 10.2-inch tablet.
To help keep all occupants cool there’s four-zone climate control that includes filters and ionizes the cabin’s air. Folding rear tables, a pair of rear massage seats and electric side blinds complete the upgrades.
Two engines are available with the XFL, a 2.0-litre turbo with either 147kW a 177kW, or a 250kW supercharged 3.0-litre V6.
All versions come with four-wheel drive as standard and the ZF-sourced eight-speed automatic.
Jaguar hasn’t released performance figures for the engine range, but expect all engine variants to have their 0-100km/h times blunted by the additional 200kg the longer, all-wheel drive XFL weighs compared to the regular XF.
