Bentley's Crewe factory started life as a shed in which Rolls-Royce Merlin aero engines were built by the British, strategically located in a potato farm 300km north-east of London specifically to keep the Germans away
Eighty years later and instead of bombing it, the Germans now own the Crewe factory in which all Bentley models are hand-made.
