Who doesn’t love love and love gifts? Well, it appears a mystery woman named Alice has hit the jackpot after French luxury carmaker Bugatti revealed that they had built a bespoke version of their Chiron Sport with a bit of flair customised for her.
Ordered by a husband as a gift for his wife, the car was purchased from H.R Owen Bugatti in London. The brand-new and unique Chiron Sport finished in Matt Blanc and Silk Rosé paint is the only one in the world. The customer took advantage of the brand’s Atelier service which invites customers to Bugatti’s head office in Molsheim, France to be guided through the unique personalisation journey to create their ultimate car. The list of custom specification possibilities is said to be almost endless.
For project ‘Alice’, a Silk Rosé exterior colour was created to compliment the Matt Blanc that colours the outer shell and lower body trim. The custom Silk Rosé colour is also used on the large alloy wheels.
Inside, a mix of leather and Alcantara materials finished in Gris Rafale is laid throughout the Chiron Sport’s interior. The word ‘Alice’ is even stitched in pink on the headrests. There is also custom ‘Alice’ logos on the door sills, finished in aluminium so you definitely know whose car you’re stepping into.
“This is a truly unique Bugatti model, that will always be remembered as a real one-of-a-kind car,” said Ken Choo, CEO of H.R. Owen.
“The customer came to us with a vision of how they wanted their new Bugatti to look, and we are delighted that the depth and scale of Bugatti’s extensive accessories and options catalogue allows for even the most ambitious of designs to be realized. It is incredible to see every Bugatti made in a different way, with the new owner getting a chance to stamp their own personal taste on their new car.”
Personal taste is certainly the keyword for the car here. All we hope is that Alice loves pink because it might be hard to return or exchange this gift.
Although aesthetically modified and customised, the Chiron Sport retains its iconic 8.0-litre W16 engine and sporty handling and steering setup. It is believed that the price of the car is €2.65 million ($4.14 million AUD).
That is the equivalent of purchasing your Valentine 207,000 long-stemmed roses. Just imagine Valentine’s Day 2022 for the couple. This man is kidding himself if he thinks he can get away with buying Alice just a bouquet of roses from now on!
