Starting from $55,000, the A4 certainly ticks the value for money box with the choice of petrol or diesel power and front- or all-wheel drive, all mated exclusively to a seven-speed S tronic dual-clutch transmission.
The A4’s thoughtful cabin design and luxurious details bring the prestige moniker to life. It just feels special, while class-leading technology and refined drivetrains also help give the A4 the edge over its heavy-hitting rivals.
Pure driving enjoyment, comfort for five occupants, a 480-litre boot and five-star safety further strengthen the A4's appeal and rank it highly in terms of packaging, driveability and safety.
While a heady list of options allows buyers to easily dial up the drama – and the price tag – Audi's latest A4 is a huge leap forward from all of its predecessors, and the best sub-$100,000 luxury car available this year.
