Best superhero film car chase scenes revealed
New data has uncovered the most popular car chase scenes from superhero films, ahead of this week’s release of ‘The Batman’Fresh research out of the UK has revealed the most enthralling superhero car chase scenes of all time.
Featuring high-speed scenes from Marvel and DC Comics films, Quote Zone is said to have looked at Youtube views, likes, and dislikes, as well as IMDb ratings, to determine the most popular car chase scenes from superhero films.
And, it was Batman: The Dark Knight Rises (2012) that came out on top, scoring 7.9 out of 10.
The scene, which is set in the dark streets of Gotham City and sees Batman (Christian Bale) go up against the police and his arch-nemesis Bane (Tom Hardy), has amassed more than 17.5 million views on Youtube.
Next in line, with more than double the amount of Youtube views but a lower overall score, was Nick Fury’s (Samuel L. Jackson) violent encounter and car chase with police in Captain America: The Winter Soldier (2014).
The car fight scene in Deadpool (2016) was also high on the list in third spot, followed by The Dark Knight’s (2008) Batpod sequence chase and another car chase scene from Batman Begins (2005).
Notable mention goes to the Batmobile chase scene from Batman v Superman, Dawn of Justice (2016), which has been viewed on Youtube well over 5 million times.
No scenes from the popular Spiderman franchise made it into the top 10, however, the van chase from Spider-Man Homecoming (2017) managed to claw its way to 13th spot.
