Alison Terry, formerly Holden's Director of Corporate Affairs, has resurfaced in a new role with Better Place Australia, the company that famously recruited Victorian minister, Evan Thornley as its CEO.
Terry (pictured, third from left) joins Better Place as Head of Corporate Affairs for the company, which is already achieving some high-profile recognition in this country.
Geoff Zippel, previously the Head of Assets and Engineering at ExxonMobil, has also been recruited by Better Place Australia and will assume the position of Head of Deployment.
"We're delighted to welcome Alison and Geoff to Better Place Australia," said Evan Thornley.
"Their decision to join Better Place represents a worldwide trend as governments, automotive and energy industries increasingly realise that the future is electric."
"Alison and Geoff bring insight, experience and skills in the automotive and oil industries that will significantly boost the momentum to rolling out Australia's first EV vehicle infrastructure network starting in Canberra with the ultimate goal of mass-adoption of EVs across Australia."
With former employees from the public sector and the automotive and oil industries occupying top spots within the company, it sounds like Better Place plans to carry out some hard lobbying.
