The new, second-generation BMW 1 Series sees the debut of BMW Lines -- two packaging options aimed at simplifying the specification process, allowing Urban or Sport flavours of the new hatch line-up.
Distinguished by unique kidney grilles, air intakes, front and rear bumpers and wing mirror housings the two distinctive packaging sets also add additional interior light elements, colour switches, exclusive decor trims and upholstery options, and bespoke alloy wheel designs.
Other features include 16-inch star-spoke alloy wheels, black exhaust end and door sill finishers with BMW Sport lettering. The grille, intakes and side intake surrounds are finished in high-gloss black.
Sport Line is available optionally with 17-inch alloy wheels and high-gloss black mirror caps.
Model-specific 16-inch V-spoke alloy wheels and door sill finishers with BMW Urban lettering are included, as are colour-coded side intake surrounds and a white key clasp.
Optionally, Urban Line is available with white 17-inch alloy wheels and a white rear bumper trim. Additional design accents on the front include white kidney bars with chrome-plated fronts and a white trim bar for the centre air intake.
Other individually customisable features include a choice of seat coverings, interior trims and accent strips and light-alloy wheels. Body colours extend to three standard and five metallic exterior paint colours (metallic paint optional $1700).
The new BMW 1 Series is available with an extensive options and accessories portfolio, details of which can be found at www.bmw.com.au from October 22.
