BMW fans take a deep breath -- the new generation model 5 Series will be unveiled this month.
The prestige German carmaker launched a teaser video (see below) showing off the silhouette of the new model, known internally as F10, and has confirmed the new model will be revealed online on November 23rd, 2009.
Its public debut could take place at the Los Angeles auto show, which commences less than two weeks later, on December 2nd.
Replacing the current 'E60' 5 Series model, the new vehicle is one of the most anticipated new model launches for the year, and one which has been the centre of much speculation.
BMW has done an impressive job plugging leaks thus far and little is known about the design or the new technologies that have gone into the new model.
The new BMW 5 Series (F10) is expected to debut at least one new engine type, possibly a new diesel or mild hybrid, and will do battle with traditional rivals such as the Mercedes E-Class and Audi A6, not to mention the Lexus GS and Jaguar XF.
