The 2024 Brabus 600 high-performance luxury SUV has been unwrapped ahead of its official launch at the Pebble Beach Concours car-fest later this week.
Basing the Brabus 600 on the long-wheelbase Range Rover P530, the famous German tuner has boosted output of the BMW-sourced twin-turbocharged 4.4-litre V8 from 390kW/750Nm to an even more muscular 441kW and 800Nm of torque.
The hotter Rangie now launches from 0-100km/h in just 4.5 seconds – a tenth quicker than the P530, although top speed is identical, limited to 250km/h.
Externally, Brabus has done plenty to ensure you won’t mistake the stock Range Rover P530 for the 600.
There’s an all-new front bumper with revised air intakes and carbon-fibre elements, while the rear-end includes a new bumper incorporating a diffuser.
A large rear spoiler also adds more visual punch, as do quad tailpipes with a cool carbon-titanium finish.
Riding on enormous 24-inch Brabus Monoblock ZV forged wheels, the company claims the SUV’s handling improves through the combination of the lightweight wheels and a new SportXtra control module for the air suspension that lowers the ride by 20mm without compromising comfort.
Inside, there’s a pistachio-inspired colour scheme that includes unusual seashell quilted leather wrapping the seats and transmission tunnel.
In Europe, the Brabus 600 pictured has been priced from €388,000 ($A650,000). It’s not yet known if Brabus plans to offer the parts to upgrade a Range Rover P530 via its Australian-based partners.
The P530 was available in Australia for $259,500 plus on-road costs at launch but was recently dropped to make way for the incoming Range Rover Sport SV.
