Bravoauto used-car brand expanding rapidly

Four new centres have opened in Sydney and Melbourne since October and a move into Queensland is next

Bravoauto, the dedicated used-vehicle brand established in October by Inchcape – the Australian distributor of Subaru, Peugeot and Citroen vehicles – is set to expand beyond Sydney and Melbourne.

First introduced in the UK in late 2021 by Inchcape, bravoauto is now a global automotive brand that offers a wide selection of quality used cars with value-added benefits.

Locally, bravoauto has accelerated its local plans and just opened another three physical sites, with more planned to be launched in 2023 as part of an expansion into Queensland.

Inchcape Australasia managing director Colin Christie said bravoauto aims to offer used-car shoppers more choice, more transparency, more value and more support in the buying process.

“The launch of bravoauto, a dedicated used vehicle brand, in the Australian market is an example of Inchcape’s commitment, as part of our Accelerate strategy, to offer more services and support to customers across a vehicle’s entire lifecycle,” he said in October.

“With bravoauto officially launched, both online and with our first of several physical stores, we’re delighted to be able to help more Australians find their next vehicle and deliver upon bravoauto’s promise to exceed our customers’ expectations when searching for, buying and owning their used vehicle.”

The initial sites are all based around Sydney and Melbourne – Penrith, Pakenham, Narellan and Bundoora – but the flourishing business will soon have centres along the eastern seaboard.

Christie now says the expansion was “just the start” of bravoauto’s local journey and cited an encouraging consumer response since October.

“In the two months since launch, bravoauto has received an overwhelmingly positive reception and the brand’s customer promises and values have resonated with many Australian consumers, which we are of course very happy with and encouraged by,” he said.

“We look forward to sharing more about the brand’s continued expansion in the new year.”

Every vehicle sold by bravoauto is subject to a 150-point safety inspection, seven-day love-it-or-swap-it policy, 12 months of free roadside assist, haggle-free pricing and flexible test drive and delivery options, with in-house finance options available.

A six-month/8000km warranty is offered on all vehicles up to 10 years old or with less than 160,000km showing on the odometer.
