Brit tuner 'fixes' Aston Martin Vantage face

UK-based design company gives small Aston coupe a nose job

Revenant Automotive has announced it is introducing a new styling kit for the Aston Martin Vantage coupe that addresses its controversial 'hunter' front grille.

The new nose, which takes design cues from previous Astons including the one-off DB10 created for the James Bond franchise, reintroduces the car-maker's former trademark grille.

Presenting a smaller opening instead of the standard car's gaping-wide air-intake, the British carbon-fibre specialist says each new nosecone is hand-made for the Vantage.

A subtler new rear bumper has also been designed but is not fitted to the car pictured.

Said to incorporate more horizontal themes, the new body part also includes a motorsport-derived diffuser.

Revenant says both front and rear parts can be further personalised with different colours and finishes, one of those being lacquered exposed carbon-fibre.

Aston Martin has released its own second slatted grille option for the Vantage but this hasn't prevented disappointing sales for the British Porsche 911 rival.

There's no indication yet on how much the revised front and rear bumper will cost, but the British firm hopes it will appeal equally to both new buyers and existing owners.
