The established Eagle Farm (Qld) based company is best known for its rent-a-racer activities and expertise in one-make race series management including the Carrera Cup. More recently the 'One Stop Motor Sport Shop' has branched out into a retail arm and performance driver training.
Under chief instructor five-times Australia Drivers Champion, Paul Stokell, the company is now adding a premium Master Class to its driver training program. Aimed at experienced street drivers looking to make the shift to the track and existing racers who want to hone their skills the first of the two-day events is scheduled for June 15-16.
To be conducted at Morgan Park Raceway near Warwick southwest of Brisbane -- one of country's best and most challenging club circuits -- the Master Class will feature Stokell and Carrera Cup frontrunners David Russell and Steve Ellery as key instructors. The course will cover all aspects of high performance driving.
Participants can use their own race or road vehicles or can hire one of Sherrin MotorSport's race-prepared BMW 120i or 130is.
At around $1500, the cost of the two-day Master Class includes accommodation and all meals. Car hire, if required, is extra.
