Burson supports new museum initiative
Parts supplier celebrates 50th anniversary with support of new auto museum initiativeThe refreshed Museum of Vehicle Evolution (MOVE) in Shepparton, Victoria, will benefit from support from leading auto parts supplier Burson Auto Parts.
The sponsorship comes as part of Burson’s 50th Anniversary celebrations.
Burson Auto Parts has signed on as a partner to the updated MOVE, which is due to open its doors in August.
Formerly the Shepparton Motor Museum & Collectibles, MOVE has been established with funding from the federal and Victorian governments, City of Greater Shepparton and the transport industry.
The not-for-profit organisation presents the history of transport all the way from bicycles to motorcycles, cars and trucks, and its display features “a series of iconic vehicles that helped to build modern Australia”.
As part of the sponsorship, Burson Auto Parts will use MOVE for regional Victorian customer and staff training events.
“Our partnership with MOVE enables us to showcase our long Australian history in supplying the parts that keep our nation’s cars on the road while also being intrinsically involved with the many special events that will be held there each year including their annual car show,” said Burson Auto Parts executive Anthony Hughes.
MOVE is located at 7725 Goulburn Valley Hwy, Kialla, on the Melbourne side of Shepparton.
