HRH was handed the keys of a Maybach longterm test car by DaimlerChrysler chairman and head of the Mercedes Car Group, Dr Dieter Zetsche (pictured at left with King Juan Carlos), at Catalunya racetrack near Barcelona last week.
King Juan Carlos will "test" the vehicle and "share his thoughts and experiences with Maybach over the next few months." Don't expect updates on CarPoint, however...
The royal Catalan Maybach is finished in Côte d'Azur blue with a light beige leather interior with brown burr walnut trim. The car also features bespoke sterling silver accoutrements created by the London silversmith, Patrick Mavros.
