But if you’re an avid car enthusiast eager to see more than just cars on the track, be sure to check out these exciting car events in Melbourne.

Springthorpe’s 11th Annual Classic Car Show

If you’re arriving in Melbourne early or looking to extend your car enthusiast weekend, don’t miss the Annual Springthorpe Classic Car Show. Featuring coffee and food trucks, a playground for the little ones, and an expansive car collection ranging from pre-19th century to late 1990s models, this classic car show is perfect for the whole family. Located just over 30 minutes outside of Melbourne’s CBD at the vibrant Springthorpe Estate, the car show will start at 10am on Sunday, March 17th, 2024.

2024 Melbourne SuperSprint

Calling all Supercars fans! The Repco Supercars Championship returns to Albert Park for another year, promising high-speed chases mixed with F1 action. Comprising four exhilarating races and heaps of thrills whether you’ve watched a Supercars race before or not, you’ll enjoy the SuperSprint at this year’s Grand Prix.

Kalorama Rally

Trust us when we say that this event is worth the adventure and definitely worth the drive. Running since 1956 and located at the Kalorama Memorial Reserve on Mt Dandenong Tourist Road, the Kalorama Rally features gorgeous vehicles from the roaring 1920s. The public is welcomed, and entry costs $10 per person, with children under 16 entering for free.

Legends Lane

For those wanting to stay at the track but are seeking activities before the race, check out Legends Lane. With a mix of vintage vehicles, food and drink stalls, exciting entertainment, and Shannons’ historic demonstration, Legends Lane is great for the whole family and is right by your seats. But be sure to make it back in time for the race!

American Breed Car Show

For lovers of fine American vehicles check out the American Breed Car Show at The Manhattan Hotel on 24th March 2024. Opening at 8am, this impressive car show features stunning, all-American 2 and 4 door cars from collectors across the state. If you have tickets for Qualifying only, check out this car show before watching the race.
