Porsche has unveiled a new US-only cosmetic pack for its brand-new 2023 Porsche 911 GT3 RS designed to honour the classic 911 Carrera RS 2.7 of 1972.
Dubbed the ‘Tribute to Carrera RS Package’ and only offered in tandem with the high-performance Weissach Package for the GT3 RS in North America, the exclusive pack pairs an era-appropriate white body with bright green wheels, decals and mirror caps.
Additional exterior touches include black brake callipers and US-specific ‘RS’ wing decals.

The green highlights are continued within the cabin by the deviated stitching, illuminated ‘Tribute to Carrera RS’ scuff plates, RS-embossed centre console lid and white key fobs.
“Customers also receive several special accessories including a package-specific Porsche Design watch with a winding rotor in Python Green designed to look like the magnesium wheel of the car, and a strap with matching stitching as well as a white bezel,” said Porsche USA.
“A custom car cover, RS valve stem caps with script in Python Green, key caps in Python Green, custom license plate frames and a pair of 1:43 scale model cars; one being the 1973 Carrera RS and the other a replica of the new car, will also be included.”

The final piece to the puzzle is an NFT program that rewards customers with digital badges signifying their attendance at key racetracks and Porsche events.
Each digital badge will be offered as a physical decal for owners to adorn their cars with and showcase their “achievements”.
Given the Tribute to Carrera RS package is only available in tandem with the Weissach Package and all of its carbon and magnesium bits, the asking price does climb rather drastically, to $US312,550 plus on-road costs compared to the GT3 RS asking price of $US223,800.
