carsales.com.au launches Snap and Sell mobile site
Selling your vehicle online has just become a lot easier with mobile device supportImproving its position as a leader in the mobile devices market, carsales.com Ltd this week launched its new 'Snap and Sell' functionality on the Carsales.com.au and Bikesales.com.au mobile websites.
As the name suggests, the Snap and Sell system allows you create an advert as you're taking photos of your vehicle, instead of having to transfer photos to your desktop computer or laptop.
The idea is to make it easier for smart phone and mobile device users to create an ad on the go, streamlining the process of taking photos, entering vehicle information and uploading details.
It now takes just five steps to create an ad from start to finish on your mobile phone.
Carsales Product Manager Simon D'Odorico says the new system was designed for the increasing number of mobile device users.
"There's a massive shift to mobile usage, and we wanted to make the process of selling vehicles easier and less time consuming.
"You just go to Carsales on your mobile web browser, and tap on 'sell your car' and then there's just five easy steps to create your ad," he explains.
The mobile websites run on most mobile devices, and now also include a new option to upload photos from Dropbox accounts as well.
