HSV has announced two new Walkinshaw Performance option packs to lift the look, capability and sound of its Chevrolet Silverado 1500 LTZ pick-up.
While a locally-developed supercharged V8 version of the big US pick-up is also on the horizon, the new Fury Packs will become available in mid-to-late November.
For $10,990, Fury Pack 1 includes a 2.0-inch suspension lift kit and WP cat-back sports exhaust system (both of which were already available as stand-alone options), plus rally-style 18-inch Method wheels with co-branded WP and Goodyear A/T tyres (295/65 R18).
The Fury Pack 2 is priced at $15,990 and also includes the lift kit and sports exhaust, plus upgrades to larger 20-inch Method rims with 285/60 R20 WP/Goodyear all-terrain tyres and bigger 410mm front brake rotors with six-piston callipers.
Both Fury options also come with a custom FURY decal set, unique FURY build plate, WP Shadow Chrome tailgate badge and WP gift pack.
Priced from $113,990 and powered by a 313kW/624Nm 6.2-litre petrol V8, the Chevrolet Silverado 1500 remains available via HSV dealerships until GM Specialty Vehicles officially opens for business in coming weeks.
GMSV was established by General Motors after it axed Holden early this year. HSV’s parent company Walkinshaw Automotive Group will continue to convert the Silverado – and probably the Camaro – to right-hand drive for GMSV.
The American pick-up and muscle car will be joined in GMSV showrooms by the Corvette in late 2021.
