Chrome-loaded 300C to debut in LA
Chrysler will debut a chrome-loaded 300C special edition on January 6...While the world's automotive media is focussed on the North American International Auto Show at Detroit, the west coast of the USA will play host to the Los Angeles Motor Show from January 6. Production cars rather than concepts will hold showgoers attention in LA with Chrysler one brand set to debut new models.
Top of the list will be its latest 300C variant. The chrome-loaded 'Heritage Edition' sedan pays homage to the original 1957 Chrysler 300C. Dubbed the "Beautiful Brute" the original 300C is now a much sought after collector car.
The new 300C Heritage Edition features additional equipment including goodies from Chrysler's SRT division and chromed body-side molding with tricolor 300C badges modelled after those on the 1957 model.
Inside there's two-tone decor, an upgraded Boston Acoustics sound system, and a "smoke translucent" finish on the steering wheel and door handles.
The 300C Heritage Edition is also the first Chrysler model to feature SmartBeam headlamps. These automatically adjust high-beam brightness and intensity.
US-only at this stage, but watch this space...
