Chrysler 300C arrives under $54,000
Chrysler will unveil its Australian market 300C at next month's Sydney motor show. The good news is that pricing is sharper than expected...Chrysler has announced the price of its long-awaited the Chrysler 300C. Prices will start from $53,990 for the 3.5lt V6 and $59,990 for the 5.7-litre V8 HEMI 300C, up to $10,000 lower than some industry pundits picked.
"At these prices the 300C provides a genuine and compelling competitor not only to the Ford and Holden rivals, but a unique alternative to the European sedans," said Gerry Jenkins, managing director, Chrysler Jeep Australia.
"300C will bring some passion back to the luxury sedan segment," he said.
According to Chrysler Australia, standard features will include Electronic Stability Program (ESP) and an all-speed Traction Control System, 18-inch alloy wheels, xenon High-Intensity Discharge (HID) headlights, rear park assist system and leather seats. Front and rear side-curtain airbags also come as standard.
The pricing for the 300C is seen as very compeitive. It will place the car in the ballpark of local prestige models such as the Holden Calais and Ford Fairmont Ghia, but under the luxury offerings of the same makers and their performance offshoots, HSV and FPV.
The 300C will be available in Chrysler Jeep showrooms around the country from November 1, 2005.
