Citroen unveils DS3 Dark Light special-edition
French car-maker reveals small hatch with paint job that shimmers in the sunCitroen has shown off a new special-edition version of the DS3 hatch featuring a new black metallic vinyl wrap that shimmers and changes colour in direct sunlight.
The limited-edition, called the Dark Light, has so far been offered to just 300 UK buyers but could be extended if there’s demand from other markets.
The colour of the wrap, called Perla Nera Black, was first seen on a DS3 shown at the Goodwood Festival of Speed but was pushed into production following favourable reviews.
Said to be scratch-proof and stand up to the worst abuse any mechanical servo carwash can dish out, the special-edition also comes with diamond-cut alloy wheels, sat-nav and black leather seats.
In the UK the Darl Light comes with a hefty $4700 premium over the standard car it’s based on.
