Continental expands Grabber range
New mud and all-terrain tyres cater for heavy-duty offroading and more moderate driving conditionsGerman tyre brand Continental has announced two new additions to its General Tire Grabber range of go-anywhere tyres for SUVs and 4x4 pick-ups.
The Grabber AT3 (all-terrain) tyre has been developed specifically for a balance of comfort and grip on and off the road, through the company’s ‘TracGen’ and ‘Comfort Balance’ technology. Continental offers the AT3 in 40 different sizes, ranging in size from 15 to 20 inches.
A chunkier tyre for serious off-road conditions, the Grabber X3 is now offered in 15 sizes and, like the AT3, features Continental’s ‘DuraGen Technology’ three-ply construction with ultra-high-strength steel and a durable tread compound that resists punctures.
“The brand has a great heritage that comes through in the capabilities of this new range, we are confident that the range will truly satisfy many Ute and 4x4 driving enthusiasts throughout Australia,” said Continental Tyres Australia Marketing Manager Russel Stewart.
