Dangerous driving videos

Ukrainian driver almost shelled and movie set stunt turns ugly

Ever wondered if car stunts go wrong during movie production? Or whether it's possible a public road could be targeted by an off-target mortar?

You have to see these videos to believe them.

The first video shows that Ukraine is not the place to be driving at the moment, as a shell – or missile as the driver asserts – lands just in front of a car.

Travelling along a seemingly deserted highway, the Ukrainian car's dash-camera captures the brief but violent moment as the ordnance slams into the road. It sends a volcano of bitumen and debris into the air after which flames can be seen erupting before the footage cuts out.

The below video has already gone viral, recording almost 400,000 views since it was posted three days ago, which shows what happens when a stunt car scene goes terribly pear shaped.

A car is driven through a semi-trailer and flies through the air, but then careens into crowds gathered to watch the dangerous feat.

It's not clear if anyone was injured but the car's wheels are ripped from its body and the sounds of grinding metal and screams can be heard as the camera phone operator panics and flees.

Have a look at the video and see what you think.
