With summer now over, car companies are working overtime to clear their showrooms of new vehicles with 2023 plates, which often translates to significant savings for buyers.
And that’s exactly what’s on offer from Jeep with its Summer Plate Clearance, the American brand offering a $10,000 factory bonus on the 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland 4x4 automatic.
The bonus is applied as a discount on the final drive-away figure, which in this instance marks a saving of close to 10 per cent given the Jeep Grand Cherokee Overland usually retails from $98,490 plus on-road costs.
If you’re in the market for a new dual-cab ute, GWM Australia is hoping to lure buyers away from rival brands – some of which are just launching with new-generation models – with its 2023 GWM Ute Cannon-L 4x4 automatic.
The Cannon-L usually retails from $42,490 drive-away, but is currently available for just $37,990 drive-away if you have an ABN.
The promotion shaves $4500 off the already competitively-priced mid-range GWM Ute, which comes highly equipped with features such as heated front seats, leatherette upholstery, LED exterior lighting, full-time 4x4, keyless entry/start, climate control, tyre pressure monitoring, radar cruise control, surround-view cameras, a six-speaker sound system and more.
Big 4x4 utes don’t suit everyone, however, and if you’re considering a sophisticated European hatch you might be tempted by the 2023 Volkswagen Golf 110TSI R-Line automatic, which is currently on special for $44,490 drive-away instead of the usual $41,690 plus ORCs.
The promotion slashes a couple of grand off the luxury Golf model and streamlines the whole buying process given customers will know exactly what they’re up for as soon as they walk in the showroom door.
