GWM Australia is continuing to apply pressure on its rivals – to the benefit of car buyers – as it looks to cement a position among the top 10 brands in Australia, this time shaving thousands from the 2024 GWM Ute Cannon-XSR.
Pitched as a value alternative to high-end utes like the Nissan Navara PRO-4X Warrior and Toyota HiLux GR Sport, GWM’s flagship XSR 4x4 dual-cab normally retails from $52,990 drive-away but is now available for considerably less than $50K – $46,990 if you have an ABN or $48,990 if you don’t (both drive-away figures).

VW is also pushing well beyond its end-of-financial-year deals into FY24/25 with stock from the previous model year, including the 2023 Volkswagen T-Roc R that’s available for $64,990 drive-away.
It’s also boosted further by an additional $3000 factory bonus, which easily accounts for the on-road costs normally associated with the T-Roc R’s recommended retail price of $61,990 plus ORCs – dealer delivery, stamp duty, registration, compulsory third-party insurance and more.
Great deals in the EV space are also continuing to run, with the 2023 BYD Seal Premium electric sedan now available from as low as $58,798 drive-away.
Buyers in Western Australia will need to add an extra $2000 to the bottom line, but it still represents a major saving for all interested parties across the country, with the Seal Premium usually retailing at that name number – $58,798 – but with on-road costs on top of that.
