It’s just about tax time and that means end-of-financial-year savings on new vehicles are coming in thick and fast among those car-makers that have plenty of supply.
Last month, we highlighted the $6000 cashback ‘Adventure Bonus’ available on the Jeep Wrangler.
Now, the Jeep Gladiator is under the spotlight, with the same $6000 offer and similar conditions that see it available across all variants in the 4x4 ute range – but lasting only until June 30.
See the listings on carsales such as the Jeep Gladiator Rubicon 4x4 automatic (MY22), which normally retails for $87,250 plus on-road costs.
Beyond Jeep’s purpose-built off-roaders, the latest marketplace deals include the 2023 Volkswagen Tiguan 132TSI Life Allspace automatic, which is available for $49,990 drive-away.
That figure is just $1500 higher than the manufacturer’s recommended retail list price ($48,490 plus on-road costs), translating to significant savings with the waiving of charges such as dealer delivery, compulsory third-party insurance and registration.
There’s also a similarly attractive offer available on the 2022 Peugeot 508 GT Sportswagon automatic, which is listed on carsales at $67,990 drive-away – $2333 more than its regular starting price of $65,657 plus on-road costs.
Again, once those extra costs are tallied up to get the car on the road, the savings – which vary according to the state or territory in which the vehicle is purchased – could help seal a deal for the French brand’s sophisticated wagon.
