End-of-financial-year deals should be ramping up soon as we move towards June and tax time, but some brands are already offering enticing deals – most notably from the local importer of Peugeot and Citroen.
Still looking to clear some older stock, the French brand is currently offering its 2022 Citroen C4 Shine for $39,990 drive-away.
With the C4 Shine normally retailing for the $39,990 plus on-road costs, that means the registration, stamp duty, compulsory third-party insurance and dealer delivery charges are all thrown in for free.
The Shine is the only model grade available in Australia for the C4 compact crossover, which features a peppy 1.2-litre three-cylinder turbocharged petrol engine under the bonnet and offers claimed fuel consumption of just 6.1L/100km. Automatic transmission is fitted standard.
Peugeot is offering a similar special on its 2022 Peugeot Boxer Pro LWB manual for ABN holders, except the waived on-road costs are applied as a $5000 factory bonus.
Peugeot stipulates in the fine print that the bonus “will be applied in the form of a discount on the advertised drive-away price, at the time of purchase on all new MY22 Peugeot Boxer vehicles” and will be available until June 30.
So, pending stock availability, the deal applies to all MY22 Boxer vans, opening up a broader range as well.
Still soldiering on after many years in the marketplace, the popular Mitsubishi ASX is also the subject of a fresh deal from the triple-diamond brand this week.
Specifically, the 2023 Mitsubishi ASX ES – fitted standard with automatic transmission – is available at $29,240 drive-away.
That compares to the usual manufacturer’s recommended list price of $27,490 plus on-road costs for the ASX EX.
The deal provides for plenty of change left over from the usual transaction price to splurge on accessories or simply pocket and save for another day.
