In the market for a sturdy, reasonably priced SUV that will seat seven, tow a ski boat and go off-road? Look no further than the Isuzu MU-X LS-M 4X4.
The importer is currently offering this variant with a free towing pack, comprising tow-bar kit, seven-pin wiring harness and electronic brake controller. Sweetening the deal further, this MU-X will normally set you back $51,200, but Isuzu Ute dealers are letting it go with free on-roads, plus the tow pack, for just $46,990. That’s over $4000 off the manufacturers retail list price, to say nothing of the extra value with the two pack and Isuzu paying for the stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance.
Age may be catching up with it, but the Nissan 370Z remains an appealing sports car for traditionalists – those who want just two seats, something more than a four-cylinder engine and looks that won’t be mistaken for a hatchback or an SUV. With a replacement looming, Nissan is rolling out current stock with the statutory charges paid. At $50,490 drive-away, the Nissan 370Z manual coupe represents really good value, and a terrific starting point for a few mods and a bit of tuning for an affordable track weapon.
Here’s one for van operators: The Volkswagen Crafter 35 TDI340 Runner in long-wheelbase form with manual transmission has had nearly $4000 knocked off its manufacturers retail list price, and the on-road costs are paid by the importer too. So the transaction price is just $48,990 drive-way, rather than the usual price of $52,790. On top of that, Volkswagen Australia is offering the additional incentive of finance at an interest rate of 6.99 per cent.
