Deal Hunter: EOFY frenzy sees Hyundai offer free servicing

The end of financial year (EOFY) campaigning continues to roll on, with Hyundai, Land Rover, Peugeot and Toyota all getting in on the act.

Locked in battle with Mitsubishi for third place among the top-selling brands in Australia, Hyundai is charging into the EOFY sales period full steam ahead.

The South Korean brand is clearing stocks of superseded Hyundai i30 Go and Active variants at drive-away prices, and with free scheduled servicing for the first two years (or respective service intervals) if the car is purchased with a loan from Hyundai Finance.

Other variants in the superseded range are also being run out with the same free servicing offer.

There’s also discounted drive-away pricing available for the latest entry-level variants (manual and auto) of the Hyundai i30 hatch and i30 Active sedan (auto only), and the entire range of facelifted hatchback variants are also subject to the same free scheduled servicing for cars financed through Hyundai.

Both run-out stock of the Hyundai Venue and current models are being sold with the same finance/free servicing offer, and the older stock is advertised at drive-away pricing.

The same finance/servicing deal applies to run-out stock of the Hyundai Kona and both the superseded Kona Go and the updated entry-level Kona are priced inclusive of on-road costs.

Much the same situation applies to run-out and current stock of the Hyundai Santa Fe too. And both trim levels of the Hyundai Palisade are also sold with the finance/servicing offer, with the entry-level variant also scoring a ‘Customise Your Palisade’ accessory pack included.

Every year around this time, Toyota is the brand that exacts the biggest benefit from EOFY – for itself, its dealers and its customers.

What this means for 2021 is a range of 23 different advertised low-interest finance offers, starting with Corolla and finishing with the Supra sports car, with C-HR and HiLux included.

Toyota is offering 3.9 per cent interest for finance over a four-year term on the following cars:

On Supra GT and GTS, Toyota is also offering 1.9 per cent interest for finance over a four-year term.

Buyers in the market for something a little different from mainstream brands may be drawn to Peugeot, a marque that’s busily directing customers to its ‘Lion Days’ campaign in the final month of EOFY.

The importer is clearing MY21 stock ahead of the new financial year by throwing in factory bonuses and accessory packs for no extra cost.

And all vehicles sold under the auspice of the ‘Lion Days’ campaign will be covered by a five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty and five years of roadside assistance.

Jaguar Land Rover Australia is running out stocks of Land Rover models during the lead-up to the end of the financial year with a combination of five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty coverage and five years of free scheduled servicing.

The offer applies to all Land Rover Discovery, Discovery Sport, Evoque, Velar, Range Rover and Range Rover Sport models, but not the new Land Rover Defender.

With effect from April, the Defender is covered by a standing five-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty and five years of roadside assistance anyway.
