Deal hunter: Free servicing and $4000 off Jeep Wrangler
Plus no on-roads for RAM 1500 Express and a healthy discount for the Peugeot 508 GT SportswagonJeep Australia must be feeling generous at the moment because it’s currently offering a $4000 discount on the entirety of its local 2023 Jeep Wrangler line-up, as well as throwing in five years of complimentary scheduled servicing.
That’s quite a promotional offer for what’s regarded by many as the most capable out-of-the-box 4x4 on the market, given it’ll save consumers about $6000 over the first five years of ownership.
That’s enough to bring the Wrangler back down and into competition with other more affordable off-roaders, since the range now starts from $81,450 plus on-road costs.
Meantime, fellow Stellantis group member RAM Trucks Australia is trying to offload the last examples of its DS-series RAM 1500 vehicles by waiving all of the full-size pick-up truck’s on-road costs.
That means the base 2022 RAM 1500 Express Crew Cab automatic can now be had for $98,950 drive-away as opposed to $98,950 plus on-road costs – which usually bring the total price to around the $110,000 mark by the time the vehicle’s on your driveway.
Giant American utes are something of an acquired taste, however, and not ideal for those who don’t need a 4500kg braked towing capacity or don’t have at least $100K to spend on a new ute, so others may consider the 2022 Peugeot 508 GT Sportswagon.
At $64,990 drive-away instead of the usual $65,657 plus ORCs, Peugeot Australia’s current 508 GT wagon offer marks a discount of more than $6000 by the time you drive out of the dealership.
