Deal hunter: Free servicing and drive-away pricing for Volkswagen Golf

Plus thousands off flagship Isuzu D-MAX and on-roads gratis for Hyundai Santa Fe

The Volkswagen Golf in its current version 7.5 guise will shortly make way for an eighth series of the highly esteemed small car.

So the importer is offering the last of the current models with the inducement of discounted drive-away pricing, three years of free servicing and a finance offer. Normally priced at $27,790, the Volkswagen Golf 110TSI Trendline with DSG transmission is currently selling for $27,990, including the statutory on-road costs. Volkswagen Australia is throwing in free servicing for three years or 45,000km at no extra cost, and a finance offer is out there too, based on an 8.82 per cent comparison rate.

A grand has been knocked off the price and the on-road costs have been paid for the Hyundai Santa Fe Active front-wheel drive with 3.5-litre V6 and automatic transmission. Usually buyers pay $43,990 before the on-road costs, but this variant of the Santa Fe is currently moving out the showroom doors for as little as $42,990, drive-away.

And finally, the Isuzu D-MAX X-Terrain crew cab ute with automatic transmission gets a discount worth nearly $4000, plus the value of free on-roads on top. Currently selling for $58,990, drive-away, the D-MAX X-Terrain 4x4 crew cab auto normally sells for a manufacturer’s retail list price of $62,900.
