There are some big savings to be had on Australia’s third biggest-selling ute and one of the top 10 most popular vehicles in Australia, the Isuzu D-MAX, with the flagship X-Terrain model being discounted by $3000 and having its on-road costs bundled in too.
This is far from a new strategy for Isuzu Ute Australia. Ever since the new-generation Isuzu D-MAX launched back in 2020, the top-spec X-Terrain has been subject to generous promotional pricing for the first few months of each model year, making it one of the best-value options within the range.
In some states, this sales model adds up to a saving of more than $10,000.
The offer is so good that the X-Terrain is actually more affordable than the lower-tier LS-U and LS-U+ duo by the time it’s on the road – that is, while the promotional pricing remains in place…
For reference, the Isuzu D-MAX X-Terrain usually carries a retail price of $65,990 plus on-road costs and comes with pretty much everything an upmarket ute buyer could want – leather upholstery, satellite navigation, smartphone mirroring, advanced safety systems, a sail plain sports bar, locking roller cover, standard tub liner and tow bar receiver, to name just a few headline items.
BMW is also ringing in the New Year by bundling the $3692 Visibility Package into the 2022 BMW 320i sedan free of charge and offering the whole package for $75,900 drive-away.

With a base price of $70,031 plus on-road costs, the 320i is BMW’s entry-level rear-wheel drive sedan.
Add in the usually optional Visibility Package (metallic paint, glass sunroof and BMW Laserlight) and the asking price lifts to $73,723 plus ORCs.
On-road costs inevitably vary from state to state, but broadly speaking, the German luxury brand is essentially throwing in the Visibility Package for free, with the offer set to expire on March 31 and the added bonus of it including demonstrator vehicles as well as brand-new ones.

Meanwhile, Mitsubishi is waving the majority of on-road costs for the new 2022 Mitsubishi ASX 2WD LS auto, which is available for a drive-away price of $30,990 – just $1740 up on the manufacturer’s $29,240 RRP.
That’s good news for buyers of small SUVs, which is one of the fastest-growing market segments in Australia.
