That’s how much Santa can save on the Isuzu MU-X 4x4 LS-T auto, which is currently offered for $63,990, including the on-road costs.
Normally, this variant of Isuzu’s popular SUV sells for $65,900, which doesn’t include registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance.
So the saving is the $1910 off the retail price, and the thousands for the statutory charges too.
Looks like the kiddies’ socks are going to be bulging on Christmas Day.
The Kia Rio has just been named carsales’ Best First Car for 2021. Now it’s better value too, with the dealer network offering the Kia Rio S with automatic for just $21,490 drive-away.
That’s the retail price and just $100 more to cover the on-road costs in addition.
Finally, the Mitsubishi Triton 4x4 GLX dual-cab pick-up with automatic transmission is selling to ABN buyers for only $42,090, drive-away.
Private buyers can also get into the Triton for just $500 more ($42,590 drive-away).
Usually, this Triton variant sells for $42,140 with the registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance on top.
So the ABN holders can pick up this pick-up for $50 less than the retail price, and pocket the statutory charges as well.
And private buyers will pay just $450 more to drive it out of the showroom.
As the late Bing Crosby would have it, it’s beginning to look a lot like Christmas...
