We’re now into the final stretch of 2020, some months since the end of financial year sales, but tradies can still pick up a Volkswagen Amarok with diesel V6 power at a very reasonable price. And there’s a low-interest finance offer on the table as well.
The importer has announced the offer for 2019-plated (MY20) Volkswagen Amarok V6 Sportline TDI550 dual-cab with automatic transmission. This variant normally sells for $56,590 before the on-road costs, but Volkswagen is currently letting it go for $54,990, inclusive of the statutory charges. That’s a saving of $1600 off the price and thousands more off the registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance. Then there’s the low-interest finance that’s available on this variant of Amarok – just 1.99 per cent.
Dealers are still running a campaign to put buyers behind the wheel of a Peugeot 508 GT, so it’s not too late to purchase either the Fastback sedan or the Sportswagon for just $56,990 on the road. The sedan usually retails for $57,490 and the manufacturer’s retail list price for the wagon is $59,490, so this offer represents a saving of $500 off the price of the sedan and $2500 off the wagon – to say nothing of the on-road costs also saved.
SUV buyers, how does $1000 off the price of a Ford Endura Titanium front-wheel drive sound? And even better, what if someone else paid the on-road charges as well? That’s the offer from Ford for 2019-plated models. Lots of bells and whistles for that sort of price.
