Budget buyers in the market for a larger van, take heart. The Volkswagen Crafter is currently the subject of a retail campaign to sell MY21 models built in 2020 at a discounted price that includes the on-road costs.
Normally selling for a manufacturer’s retail list price of $54,090, the Volkswagen Crafter 35 MWB TDI 340 auto van is currently priced at just $52,490 drive-away.
Volkswagen is not only discounting the price and paying the stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance, the importer is also offering finance at 1.99 per cent interest.
Mitsubishi is offering customers reduced on-road costs for the Mitsubishi Eclipse Cross ES front-wheel drive with automatic transmission.
The manufacturer’s retail list price is $30,290 for this variant of Mitsubishi’s ‘other’ small SUV, but the on-road cost for the moment is $30,490 – which includes the stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance.
Finally, the entry-level Kia Sportage S front-wheel drive with automatic transmission is available to buy, on the road, for just $800 more than the manufacturer’s retail list price of $31,490. That’s $32,290 drive-away.
