Deal hunter: Mercedes-Benz Vito offers mega-buck savings
Plus discounted on-road costs for Renault Koleos and Kia CeratoMercedes-Benz is keeping the pressure applied in the van segment of the Australian market.
For some months now, the Mercedes-Benz Vito 116 CDI MWB van with automatic transmission has been selling at an on-road price of $52,990.
That deal is still available. Not only will buyers save all the on-road costs – thousands of dollars’ worth of registration, stamp duty and compulsory third-party insurance – there’s another $910 chopped off the manufacturer’s retail list price.
As an alternative, Benz is offering buyers of this Vito variant the option of finance at a rate of 2.49 per cent, translating to $149 per week over a 36-month contract.
Two other deals this week will save buyers a stack of cash that would otherwise go towards paying for the statutory charges.
The Renault Koleos Life with automatic is normally priced at $32,990, but the importer is letting it go for $33,990 drive-away. That’s just $1000 more for the on-road costs.
In a similar vein, buyers can drive off the lot in a new Kia Cerato Sport automatic for less than $28,000.
Its usual price is $27,590, but that doesn’t include the on-road costs. Kia dealers are charging just $27,990 on the road for this variant, in either hatchback or sedan, so you’re covered whatever body style you prefer.
And the deal includes Kia’s seven-year warranty as well.
