Deal hunter: More than $13K slashed off Jeep Grand Cherokee L

Plus a free fuel card with the purchase of an LDV G10+ and a free bottle of wine from MG

Large off-road-capable SUVs are all the rage at the moment and with most of the heavy-hitters – Ford Everest, Isuzu MU-X and Toyota Prado – commanding lengthy delivery times at present, a readily available bargain is nothing to be sneezed at.

Case in point is the 2022 Jeep Grand Cherokee L Limited 4x4, which is currently on special from $85,950 drive-away – down from its usual price of $88,750 plus on-road costs.

The discounted sticker price marks a saving of nearly $3000 on its own, but when the waived statutory costs are factored in the offer suddenly looks a whole lot more appealing, given those on-road costs will amount at least $10,000 in most states and territories.

This equates to a ballpark saving of around $13,000 for the average consumer, and 13-grand is a huge sum of money no matter how you look at it.

LDV G10+

Nowhere near as big but still significant is the $1500 worth of free fuel being included in purchase of a 2023 LDV G10+ automatic van at the moment.

Using the G10+’s combined 8.2L/100km fuel consumption figure as a rough guide, the complementary $1500 fuel voucher will gift punters around 10,000km worth of fuel, based on the average 182cpl price Aussies paid for diesel over the past four months.

MG3 Excite

Even if you can’t save thousands or even hundreds, everybody likes a freebie now and again and that’s why MG Motor Australia is continuing to offer its pint-size but best-selling 2023 MG3 Excite automatic light hatch with a free MG-branded bottle of wine when purchased at the full $20,990 drive-away asking price.

It might not be the most modern offering in the segment, but the MG3 is now the only light hatch in Australia backed by a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty following the axing of the Kia Rio.
