Deal hunter: No ORCs and $450 discount for 2023 Jeep Compass
Plus a very tidy ABN deal for Mazda BT-50 customers and $1000 off the flagship MG3A significant model update is an attractive proposition for anyone in the market for the latest and greatest, as well as those chasing a good deal via a healthy discount off the outgoing version.
The latter is exactly what’s on offer from Jeep at the moment, since the American brand is about to electrify its local Compass line-up and is therefore looking to offload its current 2.4-litre petrol vehicles.
Enter the 2023 Jeep Compass Night Eagle automatic – the cheapest member of the Compass family – which has just been made significantly cheaper via a new drive-away deal that saves customers thousands in on-road costs.
Usually retailing from $41,400 plus on-roads, the Compass Night Eagle is on run-out at the moment for $39,950 drive-away, meaning no irritating statutory costs for customers to fork out and a $450 discount.
ABN holders, meantime, are even better off in their hunt for a new work ute if they look at Mazda’s portfolio, given the dual-cab 2024 Mazda BT-50 XT 4x4 manual is on special from just $49,990 drive-away instead of the usual $52,730 plus on-roads – saving buyers upwards of $9000 in some states and territories by the time it’s on the road.
But while some brands like Mazda offer temporary drive-away and ABN promos, others just slap segment-leading drive-away prices on to begin with. Like MG.
But now the Chinese brand is offering a discount on top of its already-low pricing for the 2023 MG3 Excite automatic hatch, which has been trimmed down from $20,990 drive-away to $19,990 drive-away in the lead-up to the all-new MG3 arriving mid-year.
