The end-of-financial-year sales might have ended, but excellent deals on new vehicles continue in the marketplace – as seen with the three offers featuring on carsales this week by Nissan, Isuzu Ute and Mazda.
In the top-selling dual-cab 4x4 ute segment, where sales have climbed 14 per cent in the first half of this year, the auto-equipped MY24 (2023 build) Nissan Navara SL is currently available for a special price of $48,990 drive-away.
That’s a $1360 headline saving compared to Nissan’s normal recommended retail list price of $50,350 plus on-road costs for the Navara SL twin-cab 4x4 auto, but runs to several thousands of dollars once you factor in those ORCs such as dealer delivery, stamp duty, registration and compulsory third-party insurance.
If it’s a ute-based seven-seat family SUV you’re after, Isuzu Ute Australia is offering the 2024 Isuzu MU-X LS-M 4x2 with 1.9-litre turbo-diesel engine/auto transmission for $45,990 drive-away, down from the regular RRP of $47,400 plus ORCs.
Again, that represents significant savings well beyond the $1410 headline figure when you get to the bottom line of the transaction and drive away from the showroom.
The well-regarded Mazda6 mid-size sedan is also an attractive model for many different buyers, including families, and is currently available for $37,990 drive-away.
This gets you into the 2024 Mazda6 Sport with 2.5-litre petrol engine/auto transmission, which normally retails for $36,290 plus on-road costs.
So it’s another case of saving on ORCs and finding a bargain in the marketplace, where competition is strong and car-makers are pulling out all stops to engage with prospective customers.
