The all-new Honda CR-V will arrive in local showrooms next month, which means Honda Australia is eagerly trying to offload residual stocks of the outgoing model, prompting a special offer to get unsold units out the door.
Right now that offer comprises a seven-year/unlimited-kilometre warranty, seven years of roadside assist and five free services on the 2023 Honda CR-V VTi automatic.
However, the unlimited-kilometre warranty only applies to vehicles purchased for private use; those bought for commercial applications will only be covered up to 200,000km.
Ex-demonstrator vehicles will only come with three free services, as opposed to five for new vehicles.
If you’re looking for something sportier, the 2023 Volkswagen Polo GTI is one of the most well-rounded offerings across both the light and regular hot hatch segments, and now it’s an even better proposition with VW including on-road costs for this quarter.
Rather than the usual $39,990 plus at least $3000 of on-road costs, the German performance model can presently be had from $39,990 drive-away – something that does wonders for its value factor alongside the still-unavailable Hyundai i20 N.
But compact hot hatches lack the outright carrying and towing capacity of a bigger purpose-built workhorse like the GWM Ute.
Already a value leader within its segment, the penultimate 2022 GWM Ute Cannon Vanta 4x4 automatic variant is currently on sale from just $44,990 drive-away for ABN holders, marking a $1500 saving compared to the usual ABN pricing.
Based on the Lavish Cannon-X grade, the Vanta matches its loaded interior with a bunch of black styling cues – grille, mirrors, door-handles, side steps – and exterior features like huge sports bars and black 18-inch alloy wheels.
