A good start would be looking into Volkswagen’s current drive-away offer on the 2023 VW Tiguan Allspace Life 132TSI 4MOTION automatic, which is currently listed from $49,990 drive-away as opposed to the usual list price of $48,490 plus on-roads.
Statutory costs vary from state to state, but this offer marks the saving of at least a couple of grand regardless of where you’re located.
Those in states or territories with higher on-road costs could end up saving close to $4000, which is nothing to sneeze at given the ever-increasing cost of living.
The Life 132 TSI 4MOTION is the second-tier offering within the local Tiguan Allspace line-up, combining the entry-level trim and specification level with a gutsier 132kW/320Nm 2.0-litre turbo-petrol engine.
The Tiguan Allspace’s only direct rivals in terms of mid-size seven-seaters are the Mitsubishi Outlander and the related Nissan X-TRAIL, both of which it has licked for tractability thanks to its seven-speed dual-clutch automatic and vastly superior torque output.
But while they’re spacious and practical, mid-size SUVs don’t make the best delivery vehicles.
To try and attract a few more customers by making its commercial compact van more tempting, Peugeot is offering the first three services of its 2022 Peugeot Partner Pro SWB automatic for free, saving owners and fleet managers more than $1500 over the first three years of ownership.
