Dodge has released another picture tease of its 2019 Charger SRT Hellcat that reveals its flagship sedan will come with two new ram air intakes in its grille.
A previous tease of thre Challenger SRT Hellcat involved the US car maker showing the facelifted Hellcat coupe would sport a pair of classic dual-snorkel intakes made famous by cars like the 1970 Challenger R/T 440. It's not known if the US super sedan will also feature the large bonnet vents.
The latest pic is yet more evidence that both the updated coupe and sedan will indeed come equipped with even more power than the current car's, already faintly ridiculous, 527kW.
Rumoured to borrow parts from the ballistic limited-run 602kW Challenger SRT Demon, the safe money is on Dodge tweaks the Hellcat's supercharged 6.2-litre V8 to produce 540kW.
Thanks to a new launch control, with the additional power, the still rear-wheel drive heavyweight should be capable of hitting 100km/h in three seconds dead, around 0.6secs quicker than the current car.
The 2019MY update is thought to be the last time Dodge facelifts the current Charger and Challenger before an all-new model, based on the same platform as the Maserati Ghibli, replaces it in 2021.
That car, it's hoped, will have been engineered for right-hand drive markets, like Australia.
Expect more teases of the Hellcat sedan and coupe ahead of its official launch in the next couple of months.
