Citroen is running out the current model Berlingo with an offer the importer claims to be valued around $4500.
The Berlingo is now priced inclusive of on-road costs until October 31 or while stocks last. Additionally, Berlingo buyers will score a $500 fuel voucher.
According to the importer, the offer is equivalent to $4551 in the pocket for buyers of the manual variants, or $4671 for the semi-automatic Berlingo. Those numbers equate to 72,640km of 'free' travel for semi-automatic Berlingo owners, or 59,896km for the manual.
"The Citroen Berlingo revolutionised the light van segment when it first launched almost 20 years ago and today it continues to offer innovative and smart thinking in the light commercial market," said Citroen Australia Sales Manager, Shaun Mackle, as quoted in a press release.
"The drive-away pricing will certainly put Berlingo on the radar of those that may not have considered a Citroen before, while allowing them to save money in the process."
Citroen has already sold all remaining dealer stock of the petrol Berlingo ahead of in the Supercheap Auto Bathurst 1000. So the retail offer applies only to turbo-diesel variants of the long-body Berlingo, priced at $26,000 (manual) or $30,000 (semi-automatic).
