Forza Motorsport 5 adds LaFerrari to its line-upAll the new games want Ferraris it seems. And as it is for Need For Speed: Rivals, so it is for the forthcoming Forza Motorsport 5 on Xbox One.
The game already comes with hundreds of cars to drive, however Microsoft plans to support its flagship racing title Forza Motorsport 5 with a special appearance of Ferrari’s LaFerrari supercar plus monthly car packs released subsequent to the game and new Xbox One console’s arrival in late November.
Each Forza Motorsport Car Pack will include ten individual cars, with the first pack arriving on Friday, November 22. Subsequent packs will be available the first week of every month, beginning January through March 2014.
Fans of specific makes and models may choose to purchase individual cars, a la carte, while devout fans may opt for the Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass. That privilege doesn’t come cheap, however. Forza Motorsport 5 Car Pass gives full access to the first six Forza Motorsport 5 Car Packs but at a cost of $64.95.
Microsoft says this is a savings of 18 per cent versus purchasing the packs individually.
Every vehicle will be available in Forzavista mode; allowing players to explore every inch of each car via a virtual tour inside and out.
As for LaFerrari itself... The LaFerrari Car Pack will be available on Forza launch day and is the first opportunity for fans around the world to enter the cockpit of Ferrari’s new hypercar.
Rated G, Forza Motorsport 5 retails for $89.95.
